All the items that Andrew Biggs engraves are one off exclusive designs that will be unique to the owner. No complete design is ever engraved twice unless specifically requested by the customer. However elements of that design may be used in future work.

 

First an outline is made of the object to be engraved and the outlines drawn up to a larger scale. Then the scroll work and design process begins with pencil and paper utilising the shape and flow of the object to be engraved and any special requirements the customer may have like a name or initials. The design can range from simple to complex depending on the size and shape of the object to be engraved.
